While the boys were camping, Kate enjoyed time with the ladies. We started our day by visiting Grandpa MacCarthy at his retirement community as they were having their Fall Festival. She got to see all sorts of animals (all of whom she called a puppies), ride down an inflatable slide, and enjoy her first taste of Kettle Corn. (Later followed with a chocolate shake from Winsteads). I think she rather enjoyed all the attention and treats! Then she was toted around to about 20 homes on the Fall Parade of Homes tour.
