And a few more...

Jason was on call for Cerner this past Memorial Day weekend so we were essentially stuck in town. We did have 5 house showings over the weekend(one offer and two potential offers...when it rains, it pours!), so it worked out well...and we spent some GREAT one-on-one time with the boys. Jason's parents and the Hamm's (Glenda, Theron, Audrey, Alli and Austin) popped by on Saturday and my parents came up for dinner on Sunday. Jonathan got to go to the neighborhood park with his grandma and grandpa and they spoiled him with ice cream from the ice cream truck (I was hoping to convince Jonathan it was just the "music truck"). My plan was foiled by the spoiling grandparents. It was only a matter of time. The park pictures are from today, my official start to summer being home with my two little men (Penguin Park). Despite the intermittent rain, the boys had a great time with cousin Daniel and Aunt Nataliya and Uncle Tommy! Poor Nicholas just has to sit by and watch while the boys played...soon little man, soon.
Here's a short video clip of them running in the rain. http://www.dropshots.com/day.php?userid=137940&cdate=20070529&ctime=114234

Just a few new pics!

Grandma (Gaga) and Aunt Katie came up for some shopping and spent a little time with Jonathan and Nicholas.
I turned my head for a moment to tend to Nicholas and I see that Jonathan has moved many of my kitchen utensils to the back deck! He is indeed an outdoor boy. He's already signed up for some gymnastics this summer so we hope we have some great afternoon naps coming our way.

Nicholas with his Aunt Katie!

Nicholas doing a little tummy time...which he clearly doesn't like. He was screaming just moments after this picture was taken!

Nicholas ...just loves to sit up and watch his big brother. He just had his 4 month appointment and he is a little guy for his age, just 12lbs. He's begun rice cereal and has really taken to it. His warm, sweet smile could melt the glaciers of the Arctic Circle!

Not the best picture, but this was taken at Sydney's 2nd Birthday party last weekend. Jonathan was obsessed with the balloons...insisting he take his afternoon nap with them.

May's First Friday crew at the Whaley's (which was a week early). The kids were entertained watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. (Cosette, Jackson and Jonathan)

Many of you have asked where/when we are moving...same area, different subdivision. (Brentwood Manor). I think we are pretty much settled in the North Kansas City/Liberty area. It's a great neighborhood for the kids, with nature trails , pool and lots of greenspace, as well as great neighbors, many of whom we have already met. It's also just down the road from Shoal Creek Elementary, where Jonathan and Nicholas will be in a just a few years. We don't plan to move again until we are of retirement age...or so we hope. It should be completed somewhere between late July and late August depending upon the weather. We'll post some pictures as they progress with the framing of the new house...we are very excited. Now we just have to sell our current home.
