Another First Day!

Nick was so super excited to start Kindergarten. He happens to have the same teach Jonathan did which is GREAT. He was a little shy and teary...in stark contrast to Jon, who ushered me on pretty quickly when escorting him to his 2nd grade class.

Kate's first day of preschool...I was worried as she has ALWAYS had Nick by her side...she confidently announced she would not miss "da broddurs". Ms. Independent.

I'm going to do better....

I've failed to keep up on blogging...clearly. I'm disappointed in myself more than anything, simply because this is important to me as this is a record of our crazy lives. I often catch my kids looking through the books I print of this blog every two years...and I love how important this is to them too. so...without any further delay...a recap of the last two months!

We travled for 10 days to visit Jim and Tara (brother and sister-in-law) and nephew, Will. I'll get to that in a minute. BIG POST!

Here are some bits and pieces of the last couple of months....
More Royals action...this time, they won!

Kate loves to cook! Maybe she should take over...
More dance! Kate performed both routines at the Santa-Cali-Gone Days in Independence.

A school ice cream social benefiting Manor Hill Elementary
The kids live for Movie Night...notice Kate's desire to just be one of the boys
Grandpa came up for Nick's first soccer game of the fall season...this meant so much to him, as did the yummy lunch and ice cream after. Go Liberty United Football Club!
Jon arrived super early and dad fed him a healthy dinner...it was scout night at LiveStrong Sporting Park. Jon LOVED watching the pros play soccer. Jason did too...he lost his voice.
A testament to Jon's love for his mama...this awaited me after Jon got off the bus last week. :) Melts this mom.
 A little backyard soccer action.
More Royals...and a chance to run the bases after. SUPER FUN!!!

Kate getting her American Girl Bitty Baby back from the doll hospital...Tilly got a hold of some fingers and toes!
