Spring Marathon Part II-Brookings, South Dakota

One a Friday afternoon about 3pm, we loaded up the van and headed to South Dakota, arriving at about 8:30pm. We awoke at 5am, ran a marathon at 7am, left at 1:30pm and made it home on Saturday by 8pm.

Quick trip...and even quicker times!

Marie and I ran a PR of 3:25 (over 52 min faster than 3 weeks before in Boston). YAY!!!
Amy also had a PR. We also managed to win some age division awards. AWESOME!

Let's try this again...might be a long one (Jon's Post)

Well intentioned, but lacking in motivation and TIME! We'll start with Jon. :)
Jon spent a couple of days in Clinton and built this amazing birdhouse with Papa. Isn't he lucky Papa is retired and Jon gets to do these amazing things with him?
Jon is officially in the Wolf Pack...what a fun ceremony!
A summer of t-ball. Jon is loving it!
Yes another lost tooth. Always exciting stuff!
Jon is STILL obessed with Lego's. In fact, he'll be celebrating his 7th birthday with his closest friends (and siblings) at the new Kansas City Legoland. Go big or go home, right?
Jon's last week of school included a fieldtrip to the zoo. I feel so fortunate that I have the ability to help as a part volunteer for these things. It was a beautiful day and I had these amazingly fun kids to hang with.
Jon's big catch. Again, got to spend a couple of days with Papa and caught 14 fish. Papa caught 2. :) I'm sure he was busy helping Jonathan with his catch...since he didn't prefer to bait or unhook.
