It's been a busy month for our family so far. We dealt with a nasty case of what we believe was rotovirus...both Jonathan and Nicholas were down for the count for almost a week. Poor Aunt Katie (who experienced being vomited on), also became ill. Thankfully Jason and I were spared for the most part!
We are thrilled to have my grandfather move close by from Dallas, TX to a retirement community. It will be a joy spending more time with him and allowing Jonathan and Nicholas to get to know their great-grandfather. He is an amazing person and has many stories to tell from a rich and full life.
Facebook (a little addiction of mine) allowed us the opportunity to have a good old friend, who was in town from TN to take pictures of her neice, take pictures of our family in the backyard. She is amazing and did an absolutely fabulous job capturing our family. It's going to be tough to decide what pictures to order. You can see some of the pictures she took (and others that display her unbelieveable talent) at www.porterphotography.blogspot.com. Facebook also helped reunite some good friends I graduated with in 1994 from CHS. It was so good to get together and visit, if only for a short time.
Our visit to the pumpkin patch here in Liberty with our friends, Ryan and Nicole, was so worth the time and energy this year. Both Jonathan and his good buddy, Kendric, had a great time. Nicholas (our little people watcher) seemed to have a great time too.
Class of '94 Friends mini-reunion.
A little Halloween preview...Jonathan will actually be Batman...but sister Katie thought it would be fun to torture him and make him wear this! You can tell he's not in to it! :)
