I've neglected blogging and sharing pictures for a few weeks as I was sucked into Facebook by some great friends. I admit I spend WAY too much time on it, however, it has allowed me the opportunity to reconnect with so many friends I have lost touch with over the last few years from high school and college and I'm really grateful for that.
The Kazmaier family is adjusting to the routine of mom going to work everyday! It's been a surprisingly smooth transition. Jonathan loves spending days with "fun Cole" and all of his friends, especially his favorite pal, Kendric. It's hard to get him to cooperate to leave at 3:00 when I arrive to pick him up at the end of the day. I ask him if he's ready to leave, and it's "no play cars". Last week I got him out to the driveway to head home and he ran back to Nicole's front door and said, "Go home mommy". I'm not offended but rather thrilled he's having a tremendous time. Nicole has become such a great friend and I wouldn't want anyone but her to care for my children!
We are also finally feeling like the new house is our home. We have enjoyed getting to know our new neighbors and look forward to the weather cooling down and affording more of an opportunity for us to spend time outside in the late afternoons and evenings.
Nicholas is starting to get up on his knees and we are anticipating some action in the area of crawling very soon. He is the happiest little baby ever and even added his first two bottom teeth to his one-dimpled smile this past month! His little brother or sister is already quite active kicking and squirming in mommy's tummy. We are looking forward to another peek at baby #3 toward the end of this month.
We spent some time in Clinton over the Labor Day weekend with Jason's folks, siblings and families. Jonathan loved playing with his cousins and being outside for extended periods of time...thank goodness for a cooler weekend. We unfortunately forgot our camera so if we can get a hold of a few pictures from Jason's brother, Jeff, we'll post some soon. We also spent Sunday evening visiting my parents. We had a great time.
Here are some pictures from the last few weeks:
