Nicholas had his "Celebration of Life" at the Montessori this morning
....a little early since his 3rd birthday isn't until the 21st.

What an incredible little ceremony celebrating each year of Nick's life!
The kids had a song about the months of the year, a candle representing the sun was placed in the middle of the circle and Nick walked around it three times holding a globe to represent the three years of his life (while the kids sang another song "the earth goes around the sun" to the tune of Farmer in the Dell).
A smaller candle was lit for each year and a small paragraph (written by mommy and daddy) was read by Ms. Kelly about each year of his life.

Nick passed around pictures of himself from birth to now as well.

That is really cool! He looks thrilled! And, I noticed the Thomas plates - they know him well!
