Boom!

It's a tradition to head to our hometown and celebrate Old Glory Days over the 4th of July.
The kids joined their grandparents for a pancake breakfast at the fire station.
Even though ridiculously HOT, I crawled my way to another finish of the Old Glory Days 5K

We made it through the entire loooooooooooong, hot parade.

We planted ourselves in our usual spot to view the local firework display

Just Dance!

Two routines this year...tap and tumbling! Super fun to watch this little gal on stage...no fear, just fun!

Kate is fourth from the left tapping her way through "Baby Face"
Kate is in green below...her routine to a very kicked up version of "It's a Small World"

Weekend at Lake Ozark

A super good time with family at the lake (Jason was on his own adventure this weekend), but we still managed to all sorts of fun things together!

Little bits 'o summer!

Vicious dog! (Nah, but funny pic with Nick!)
Still loves cuddle time with daddy!
 Never enough water!

 Another amazing birthday....the big "90"
 Lunch dates with Kate!
 Boy Scout Camp!
 T-ball games galore!
 Mad games of UNO
A little pampering never hurt!

Early Summer Camping-Backyard/Semi-Civilized!

Yes, that's a box fan, powered by a very long extension cord. I would like to say it helped, but no. No it didn't. :)
We grilled and slept and vowed to wait for early fall next time!

Two Peas in a Pod!

How is it they grow so fast!?
