Just a few new pics!
Not the best picture, but this was taken at Sydney's 2nd Birthday party last weekend. Jonathan was obsessed with the balloons...insisting he take his afternoon nap with them.
May's First Friday crew at the Whaley's (which was a week early). The kids were entertained watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. (Cosette, Jackson and Jonathan)Many of you have asked where/when we are moving...same area, different subdivision. (Brentwood Manor). I think we are pretty much settled in the North Kansas City/Liberty area. It's a great neighborhood for the kids, with nature trails , pool and lots of greenspace, as well as great neighbors, many of whom we have already met. It's also just down the road from Shoal Creek Elementary, where Jonathan and Nicholas will be in a just a few years. We don't plan to move again until we are of retirement age...or so we hope. It should be completed somewhere between late July and late August depending upon the weather. We'll post some pictures as they progress with the framing of the new house...we are very excited. Now we just have to sell our current home.

Scenes from our Easter Weekend
Talk about a cold Easter weekend with breaking lows....Brrrrrr. We traveled to Clinton with the boys late Saturday morning and spent a little time with the Kazmaier's before spending the night with my parents. We enjoyed a chilly easter morning church service at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, had a wonderful dinner with extended family and friends hosted by my parents and an easter egg hunt for the kiddos. We'll try to get some video downloaded soon and post some clips!

More Park Time!
With the nicer weather we have had for the last couple of weeks, we go to the park literally everyday after school...there is no peace with Jonathan unless we do!
The following short video clip we took of Jonathan last Saturday...we were entertained at his expense when it became clear that we were a little late getting to his nap! http://www.dropshots.com/day.php?userid=137940&cdate=20070317&ctime=090016

Brothers
In vain, we often attempt to get "good" pictures of the boys together...as you can see, we are rarely successful!

Here's a little about what's been going on with the Kazmaier's for the last couple of weeks. This past weekend we celebrated cousin Daniel's first birthday at his grandparents house. First birthday's are so special. Jonathan and Nicholas' great grandpa is in town from Dallas for the next couple of weeks. He hasn't been to the area since my brother Tommy's wedding when Jonathan was only 5 weeks old. Since I am on spring break all week, we plan to spend some time in Clinton with him and it's really exciting to have his great grandson's get to know him a little. I'll have to add pictures of all of them together later. We are hoping to convince him to move to the area and he will be visiting some assisted living communities this weekend. We learned just this past week that Grandma KN has colon cancer and had surgery on Friday. We are praying for her as it will be a long recovery. It's very difficult to see the health of so many family members of that generation begin to fail.
We have officially put our home on the market fsbo...not exactly the best time to sell with the way the market has been, but it's time to move on. We are nervous about the whole process and how it will disrupt our lives for a while, but excited about the prospect of moving into what we hope will be it for the next 20+ years!

Anyway, I'm am looking forward to spending a week with my little boys...after spring break it's just another short 9 weeks of school until I am able to spend an entire summer with them. Oh boy!

Nicholas-11 weeks old
We just had to share a "happy" picture of Nicholas. The cradle cap and eczema has subsided (for now) and he's beginning to loose the awkward newborn look. He's definitely lost some of his hair, but it's still as dark as it's ever been and it appears that at the moment, we have a blue-eyed little man. When comparing pictures, Jonathan and Nicholas definitely have their own unique looks.

Ahhhhh...Parents Weekend!
(I am responsible for those classy t-shirts)
Jason and I enjoyed our first weekend alone (just the two of us) since Nicholas was born. Nicholas and Jonathan stayed with Grandma and Grandpa in Clinton this past weekend while we enjoyed a Saturday afternoon napping(rare these days) and looking at houses. Saturday night we met up with several friends and spouses at the Levee off of 43rd in celebration of a 30th birthday and had a fabulous time! (Although I called my mom more than a dozen times to check on my little one's!) We even left a little early so we could enjoy a movie rental at home and cuddle on the couch in front of a fire. It's always good to spend a little time alone as a couple, but we sure missed our little guys. Jonathan seemed to have a great time with grandma (gaga) and grandpa (poppy) and was one exhausted little man when we picked them up Sunday afternoon.
