HAPPY EASTER!

HAPPY EASTER!!!
A recent photo of the boys with the Easter Bunny at Oak Park Mall. Jonathan had a death grip on me before I put him in the bunny's lap. Nicholas seemed so comfortable, he just sat there and yawned.

Nicholas' 3 Month Portrait

He was VERY cranky when we had these taken yesterday...needless to say we didn't have much to choose from. But he's still our little cutie!

More Park Time!

With the nicer weather we have had for the last couple of weeks, we go to the park literally everyday after school...there is no peace with Jonathan unless we do!

The following short video clip we took of Jonathan last Saturday...we were entertained at his expense when it became clear that we were a little late getting to his nap! http://www.dropshots.com/day.php?userid=137940&cdate=20070317&ctime=090016

Brothers

In vain, we often attempt to get "good" pictures of the boys together...as you can see, we are rarely successful!

Here's a little about what's been going on with the Kazmaier's for the last couple of weeks. This past weekend we celebrated cousin Daniel's first birthday at his grandparents house. First birthday's are so special. Jonathan and Nicholas' great grandpa is in town from Dallas for the next couple of weeks. He hasn't been to the area since my brother Tommy's wedding when Jonathan was only 5 weeks old. Since I am on spring break all week, we plan to spend some time in Clinton with him and it's really exciting to have his great grandson's get to know him a little. I'll have to add pictures of all of them together later. We are hoping to convince him to move to the area and he will be visiting some assisted living communities this weekend. We learned just this past week that Grandma KN has colon cancer and had surgery on Friday. We are praying for her as it will be a long recovery. It's very difficult to see the health of so many family members of that generation begin to fail.

We have officially put our home on the market fsbo...not exactly the best time to sell with the way the market has been, but it's time to move on. We are nervous about the whole process and how it will disrupt our lives for a while, but excited about the prospect of moving into what we hope will be it for the next 20+ years!
Anyway, I'm am looking forward to spending a week with my little boys...after spring break it's just another short 9 weeks of school until I am able to spend an entire summer with them. Oh boy!

Nicholas-11 weeks old

We just had to share a "happy" picture of Nicholas. The cradle cap and eczema has subsided (for now) and he's beginning to loose the awkward newborn look. He's definitely lost some of his hair, but it's still as dark as it's ever been and it appears that at the moment, we have a blue-eyed little man. When comparing pictures, Jonathan and Nicholas definitely have their own unique looks.

Ahhhhh...Parents Weekend!

Jason and I enjoyed our first weekend alone (just the two of us) since Nicholas was born. Nicholas and Jonathan stayed with Grandma and Grandpa in Clinton this past weekend while we enjoyed a Saturday afternoon napping(rare these days) and looking at houses. Saturday night we met up with several friends and spouses at the Levee off of 43rd in celebration of a 30th birthday and had a fabulous time! (Although I called my mom more than a dozen times to check on my little one's!) We even left a little early so we could enjoy a movie rental at home and cuddle on the couch in front of a fire. It's always good to spend a little time alone as a couple, but we sure missed our little guys. Jonathan seemed to have a great time with grandma (gaga) and grandpa (poppy) and was one exhausted little man when we picked them up Sunday afternoon.
